Scott McCloy is currently an Assistant Principal at South Forsyth High School in Cumming, GA.  Prior to that appointment, he served as the Director of Bands, Orchestra, and Fine Arts Department Chair at Lambert High School in Suwanee, Georgia, where he served for twelve years beginning with the school’s founding in 2009.  Under his direction, the ensembles received numerous accolades including the Exemplary Performance Award by the Georgia Music Educators Association, being a four-time regional class 4A champion at Bands of America competitions, consistent Superior ratings at large group performance evaluations by all ensembles, and by-invitation performances in Washington DC, New York, the Bahamas, London, England, and Rome, Italy.  A veteran of Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps and the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Band, Mr. McCloy earned his Undergraduate degree in Music Education from Western Carolina University and his Master’s degree from Lesley University.  Aside from school, Mr. McCloy has worked for Chase Broadcasting, Turner Broadcasting, and is the announcer for the Georgia Indoor Percussion Association.
